Prerequisites

Step to install docker and Portainer

Step 1: Install Docker

First, update your system to ensure all packages are up to date:

sudo yum update -y

Install Docker

Next, install Docker using the following commands:

  1. Install required packages:

     sudo yum install -y yum-utils
    
  2. Install Docker:

     sudo yum install -y docker-ce docker-ce-cli containerd.io
    


Start and Enable Docker

Start Docker and enable it to start on boot:

sudo systemctl start docker
